The Gaiety Theatre is shown, as is the cable car pylon in the distance. The canopy on the building on the left was a fruit shop. The chalet lines below the pylon were yellow camp, although by this time some of the land had been sold to an adjacent caravan site, Primrose Valley. You can make out the end of a static caravan at the other side of the fence. Originally the Butlins site extended about 200 yards past this fence.
