Sand Bay - Will they ever re-open the pool?

Still okay for the money, but this used to be such an amazing holiday camp. But they redeveloped loads of buildings to increase capacity that they can't cope with, shortened meal times, making it busy, shrunk the dining room, making meals even more crowded and unpleasant, stopped laying the tables, making it a canteen experience. The free pool, gym, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna used to be open 8am-8pm. Hasn't been open for 3 years. One excuse after another! Basically cutting costs, when they went to zero hour lifeguard contracts. The games room is looking knackered (the one they crammed into a small room when they redeveloped the big one into new accommodation). But the camp itself is looking tidy.

I prefer Pakefield these days. At least it has a part-time swimming pool still!
