I have just booked a weekend breakaway at Skegness between 13th 16th Feb.

This wil be my 5 year old daughters first ever visit to Butlins, (wonder what she will make of it in 20 years time)

We have had to book silver Appartments Gold and standard were both full, does anyone know what these are like?

    Thank's

    Hi,
if it is silver self-catering at Skeggy it is excellent. I always moan on about the old chalets being more fun etc etc but as you are going in Feb i can highly reccomend them as the heating is great, as i found out in November last at the 70s week end.

Well, 'Nick', I can't tell you much about the Silver accomidation because I haven't been in a chalet since they had the old 'Standard, Deluxe and Luxury' etc.
