If you're a sucker for false chalet features, fabric ceilings and glass fibre roosters I'm sure you'll appreciate the attached.
I took the picture in the mid 80s. Butlinland Bognor Regis.
They've obviously toned down the decor for the 80s with a more subtle brown and cream. Just imagine what it looked like ten years earlier!

Nice pipes!
But just going for a mo. Can you identify for me which camp and building the attached postcard 'Typical Golden Grill' was taken at?
(I know I should know this.....but I don't!) HELP!

According to the Hinde Butlin's book, that patricular "Golden Grill" was at Ayr - unfortunately I don't know which building it was in.
It may have once been the "Windsor Grill". The Bognor Regis "Windsor Grill" (the posh end of the "Windsor Cafeteria") became the "Golden Grill" in the late 70s. At that time the "Windsor Cafeteria" became the "Holiday Chef".
The decor of both stayed the same after the name-change including the psychedelic back-lit mural in the "Golden Grill".
There was an elderly lady with blonde hair who seemed to work in the "Golden Grill" for ever. Her name was Thomasina !
The pic of the Windsor Cafeteria was taken in June 1978.
