All things bright and Butlinful, all Redcoats short and tall,
All things that are wonderful, Bill Butlin made them all.
He made the Pig and Whistle and made the theatres too,
All things bright and colourful he made for me and you.

He made the Butlin Redcoats as friendly as they are,
He knew that some were talented and they would go far.
All things bright and colourful so beautiful and nice,
Bill himself was Butlinised and could have made them twice.

He made the Old Time Music hall and then The Pioneers
Sharon drank large vodkas til - it came out of her ears.
All things that Sir Billy made "was all for our delight"
Paul Beckett certainly agreed - he did it twice a night!

He made the Campers Talent Show and then the Knobbly knees.
He gave us them to get some laughs - he knew that they would please.
Things were nice and musical and memorable you know,
Delightful and enjoyable just like the Redcoat Show.

He gave us memories to last - we'd take them near and far,
He gave us Goodnight Campers and the Friday Au-revoir.
All things that Bill Butlin made "was all for our delight"
He gave millions to charity - the Queen made him a knight.

All things bright and Butlinful, all Redcoats short and tall,
All things that are memorable, Bill Butlin made them all,
Redcoat accommodation was down the chalet lines,
Security would follow us - and ruin it the swines.

He really did enrich our lives, we all had so much fun,
But nothing lasts forever and suddenly it's done.
So thanks Sir Billy Butlin for the happiness you gave,
And for the golden memories that I'll take to my grave!
