Thank you for bringing back memories of Skegness.
I worked at Skegness for the 1949 season running the Photographic section for processing campers films which they had taken themselves (black & white only).
I had previously worked at Folkestone processing beach photos for a local firm called Hawkworth Wheelers. Seeing an advert in the newspaper for photographic staff at Butlins, I answered and went for an interview in London and got a job for myself and a friend who worked with me at Folkestone. We both got jobs at Skegness. We did not live on the camp, only had our meals there, we first had digs at Ingoldmills then in Skegness.
