Redcoat Show

These costumes we are wearing for the Redcoat Show, are from the film Every Day's a Holiday, the scenes were finished early on in the filming, so they let us use them. Honestly they were so well made and lovely. Towards the end of the season the film company were packing up to leave, but we still needed them, so they asked Butlins for £100 for the lot, sadly Butlins refused to pay. So we said goodbye to our costumes. Late one night us girls raided the Beaver Lodge and took down the curtains and made skirts from them to wear over black leotards for the Redcoat Show, now no one ever got into trouble for this, so l can only assume our ents management was angry that the original offer was not accepted..
