I got a bit of a shock when I saw the camp map. The place looks so tiny compared to other camps!

It still seemed to have more or less all the usual features though.

One thing I was pleased to see (and wish I could still see in current ents guides when I go to Butlins) is the bit where it says

THE FOLLOWING AMENITIES ARE OPEN DAILY FOR YOUR ENJOYMENT.

    ALL ARE FREE

Note there were no asterisks or small print next to it either!

Hi Push, according to this page, Clacton was a medium sized camp with all of the entertainment buildings being two storey, hence they would take up less space on a map.

"Medium" would infer that there was at least one smaller camp.

Anyone know which camp was smallest?

I always thought that Barry was the smallest camp and that Bognor was the second smallest?

    Could be, I don't know.

If Bognor is that small though, it only makes what they said they were doing a couple of years ago sound even less likely (unless perhaps there's a lot of vacant land next to it that they've purchased).
