This picture is taken from near the south enrance on the main road, outside the camp. It shows the boating lake, which was the original parade ground. I believe the circular item, with boating lake written on the side, may have been some kind of display fountain in the camps early days. Also visible are the indoor pool, The Empire Theatre and the cablecar wires.
