Thanks to Claire Mellican for supplying this photo which shows, clockwise from left to right, Claire Mellican (nee Fry from Hildenborough, Nr Tonbridge, Kent), Claire's mother (the late Mrs Greta Fry from Southborough, Nr Tunbridge Wells, Kent). The lady next to Claire's mother, the boy opposite her and the man opposite Claire's mother are family friends, at that time, also living in Southborough.
